Anjanette brings her professional educational insight to life in her debut children’s book, Homes Sweet Homes, co-authored alongside her biggest inspiration—her free-spirited daughter, Eloise.
Anjanette is an elementary school counselor dedicated to helping K–6 children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Holding a Master of Education and National Board Certification, her background spans teaching, educational consulting, and academic therapy. She blends evidence-based tools with child-centered practices like mindfulness and yoga to support students through anxiety, social dynamics, and family transitions. Guided by a global perspective from her studies in Costa Rica, Anjanette is a passionate advocate for positive, holistic youth development.
Her favorite role is being Eloise’s number-one fan, drawing inspiration from her daughter’s horse riding and creative sewing. This energetic duo loves lake days, dog park runs, and volunteering in Central America. As a mother-daughter team, their shared adventures fuel endless creativity.
